TikHDSaver is a free TikTok slideshow downloader that saves any slideshow with the music intact as an MP4, as images, or as an audio-only MP3. Slideshows are an awkward format to save: not quite a video, not quite a photo set, but a sequence of stills that TikTok animates with transitions and lays a track over.
TikHDSaver doesn't make you save it one way. A single slideshow link gives you four outputs, because the same post is a video to one person, a set of reference images to another, and just a sound to a third.
Four ways to save a slideshow
Paste the link once and pick whichever you need or take several:
- Download the slideshow as MP4. The full thing as a video, with the music, timing, and transitions preserved. This is the one to choose when the sound is the point and you want to watch it back or repost it as intended. TikHDSaver returns a standard MP4 that plays anywhere.
- Download all images at once. Every slide as a full-resolution JPG, delivered together in one go. Best when you want the whole set without tapping through each image individually.
- Download a single image. After TikHDSaver processes the post you get a preview grid; tap just the slide you want. Best when a twenty-image carousel has three frames you actually care about and you don't want the other seventeen cluttering your gallery.
- Download the audio as MP3. Just the backing track, no images, no video. Best when you're after the sound itself to identify it, use it, or save it as a ringtone. TikHDSaver extracts it at source bitrate rather than an inflated number.
These aren't exclusive. Plenty of people take the MP4 to keep and the images to work from, or the images plus the audio to rebuild the slideshow their own way. Choose as many as you need from the one paste.
TikTok doesn't store slideshows as finished videos. It stores the images and the audio track separately, then assembles them in the player on the fly. So "downloading the slideshow" means fetching every image, fetching the audio, and rendering them together with correct timing and transitions. That's why TikHDSaver takes a few seconds longer on slideshows than on plain videos, and why most general-purpose downloaders either fail on these links or hand you a silent video. The rendering step is real work, not a pass-through.
For still photo posts (carousels you swipe without music), use TikHDSaver's photo downloader instead.
How to download a TikTok slideshow
- Tap Share → Copy link on the slideshow.
- Paste it into TikHDSaver above.
- Wait for the render. Longer slideshows take a moment more that's TikHDSaver assembling the file, not a stall.
- Pick your output: the MP4 with music, all images at once, a single image from the grid, or the audio-only MP3. Take one or several the link only needs pasting once.
TikTok's player applies transition effects that vary by device and app version, and it sometimes re-times slides using beat detection. TikHDSaver's render aims to match what you saw, but a slideshow that ran with a particular transition style in-app may come out with a cleaner cut. The images, their order, and the audio are accurate. The flourishes between slides are approximations.
How to Save on Each Device
iPhone and iPad. Tap download, then find the file in the Downloads folder of the Files app. To move it into your camera roll, open it there and use the share sheet to save to Photos.
Android. The file lands in Downloads and usually appears in Gallery or Google Photos within a minute. If it doesn't, refresh your gallery app manually.
Windows and Mac. It behaves like any browser download. If your browser opens the video in a new tab rather than saving it, right-click and choose "Save video as."
Add TikHDSaver to your home screen, Safari's share menu on iOS, Chrome's menu on Android. It opens like an app without the stress.
